Ben Sharp - Pineapple Textured Rocks Glasses

Ben Sharp was born in Gainesville, Florida, and began working with glass in 1997 as a scientific flameworker, fabricating glass instruments for the University of Florida, the USDA, and NASA. In 1999, Sharp shifted his focus from scientific glasswork to soft glass. He has worked at Bullseye Glass in Portland, the Corning Museum of Glass, and served as the Studio Technician at Pilchuck Glass School from 2009 to 2015. Sharp earned a BFA from Alfred University and is currently the Production Manager at Canned Heat Glass Studios in Portland, Oregon.
